Hi everyone,

This is probably a dumb and simple to answer question.. But is there a way to make a curtain wall? Or do I have to stack the windows seperately?

Thanks,

Samantha

Samantha, as far as I'm aware, you can't create curtain walling directly, but you can draw a casement and add as many transom's as you wish to it, and then stretch it sideways and divide it into up to 7 vertical sections. A lot depends on what you want to achieve. You can also stack them as you wish on the 3D and then on the plan, go to EDIT > UNIT OPENINGS and give it a PRODUCT CODE and make a single multiple section window with it.

As Keith says, ..

You can cluster windows (in this example, a 36 x 72 casement)

Windows are spaced 36" center to center and then that grouping redone to stack on the first, .. and again to stack higher.

This cluster of five across did not work well with the 'Unit Openings' function

(maybe I missed something in the process, .. it seemed to only recognize the first and second choice, .. and not all five, before it prompted me to 'name' the new unit)

.. invariably, someone will have a simpler solution.
