I would like to lock elevations and 3D views in plan sets. I would also like to lock settings for each instance so the the settings for a particular view or elevations do not change each time I work on another view. I think I may have suggested this before, but it is no fun when "view ports" start changing when trying to change their location, or something else near them.

I'd also like to be able to designate any wall or material to show up in elevation and 3D no matter if it is "bearing" or not.

I would love to be able to add a texture to  a polygon with more options then solid fill.

I would like to be able to adjust shutters manually or even have a selection of half the width of the window.

Take a look at the "Adjust Width to Cover Opening" setting, it may do what you're looking for.

I've pointed out to Softplan on prior occasions that decorative vinyl shutters come in a variety of widths, but nothing has come of it.

You pretty much have that.  Its trace roof, add floor (manual) and add deck (trace).  Can you elaborate further?

You don't even have to go to the extent of a box in the roof and floor ... just click the AUTO TRACE. Not sure how much easier that it can be made.
