Does anyone know of a program or app that I can take a 2D elevation and make it look similar to this?

This elevation was done in AutoCad and used an add-on called Napkin sketch.  I have used a similar one long ago called squiggle but neither Squigle nor Napkin seem to have a PC version but they are more for apple and android phones.  I just need something to take either a PDF or JPEG and give it a little more freehand look to it.  I thought the illustrated mode might work in Softplan but it is too much (shade, shadow, stippling, etc.).  Using it to create a marketing flyer

Try FOTOSKETCHER ... http://fotosketcher.com have a look at the gallery http://fotosketcher....etcher-gallery/ to get an idea what it can do. Pen and Ink sketch or Pencil sketch modes may do what you want.

You can even control the length and intensity of the pencil strokes. I'm sure with some messing around you could get what you need. You can even add text.

I have squiggle and use it on my PC...it works perfectly.  It doesn't work on Softplan files...but when exported to DWG or DXF...it does all you ask.  I also use fotosketcher and get some interesting options.

Is Squiggle free anymore?  Seems like I used it they had a shareware version.  Fotosketcher isnt too bad but a few variables missing.

Just out of interest, windowsdeal.com is giving away ... probably today only ... SoftOrbits Sketch Drawer 4.2 - Go to http://www.windowsde...iscount-coupon/ and have a look.

It may or may not be more configurable than Fotosketcher, don't know. I haven't had a serious play with it. However, it's free and if it doesn't do what you want you can always uninstall it.

They do require you to register, but I feel that some junk mail is a small price to pay for software.

I do like the colour sketch mode - although not what you are looking for, but I'm sure some people may have a use for it ...
