Hello everyone,

I am wondering if it is at all possible to make an opening using a sketchup garage door. All I've been able to do is make it a symbol so when I put it on the plan it doesn't cut in the wall.

Thanks

The Sketchup garage door is a 3d model.

It needs to be placed in the Softplan 3D library where it can be accessed.

Next you need to create a new garage door.

This involves creating the door in both the door library and the elevation opening library.

Finally the elevation opening door needs to be linked to the 3d model which you created in Sketchup.

Summary ...

Placing the garage door which is selected from the opening library uses the elevation opening for elevation views and the 3d model for 3d views.
