Hey guys,

What is the "default" pen size, can you change it?

Absolutely.

The default pens are the ones that are setup in the System options PEN SETUP, and you can set a default Pen number for virtually everything ...

There are 16 different pens available ... ALL of which can be defined as a specific width and colour.

As an example my deck joists (as you can see from the attachments) are set up as PEN STYLE 10 and Pen Style 10 is set as Light Grey and 0.10mm.

You can override a lot of the settings on the EDIT dialogue for most of the components, and if you want, you can also set specific LAYERS to print in SPECIFIC line styles and colours regardless of what they are drawn as.

For example, my BIG O is on it's own layer, that ALWAYS prints as LIGHT BLUE - and 0.20 mm regardless of how it's shown on the plan (PEN 13 - See Setup), and my Title Blocks are set to print in RED pens.

There you have it ... Everything you ever wanted to know about pens ...
