Love the new format. I noticed that there isn't a spot for version 14, (not version 2014). Have I been dusted away? Also, can't seem to find a place to change the password I was given.

Hey Randolph.

I finally found it. Glad someone else has a memory like mine.

Does anyone know how to find the version 14 section? Not the 2014 version.

version 14 will be a retired and un-supported version after 2016 is released.

You can find any old post under the "archives" section

The "archives" tab is right next to the "forum" at the top of the forum page (upper left side)

Here is a direct link to the old SPLASH forum directory

Well, that doesn't suprise me. Left behind in the dust. Thank you for your response.

Doug, You may want to consider exporting your projects and saving in DXF or DWG which could then be uploaded

to the newer Softplan Versions.

A Thought,

Steve

Steve,

Most releases will bring old projects forward without issues.  There should be no need to export to DWG or DXF to come forward to the current release.

Thanks Tim,

I always export and save all of my projects to both DXF and DWG as well as Softplan , just in case the day comes when needed.

Never thought hand drawing would become " obsolete" years ago.

My understanding is the old Softplan projects can be brought forward without issues and worked on but unable to then save in

and open in older version. This makes it difficult to do work for someone who has an older version and exchange files. Saving to

DXF etc. may enable the transfer between versions. Please correct me if I am seeing this wrong.

Thanks, Steve
