If you want trapezoid windows to be a different shape than automatically fitting to the roof or ceiling...is there a way to adjust the heights of each side manually?

You could always define a custom window as the width and height that you want.

Alternately, If you put in a cathedral ceiling at a different pitch, I think the window head will follow the ceiling.

Do you have a specific requirement?

This customer wants windows and openings that don't follow the roof or the ceiling and they want the opening in the front porch to hasve an odd angle across the top of the opening.  Any suggestions?

Put a ceiling in at the angle you want the window and add a window. then edit the ceiling. I think that the window will stay as designed even if the ceiling changes, unless you reinsert it. I'm doing a bit of guesswork here, but it may be worth trying.

Thanks Chris and Steve...as usual, your help is much appreciated!  Now the other thing...how do you make a opening in a porch in an odd shape??   Can you make a cased opening follow the roof or the ceiling?

I'd just create a custom opening. They may be daunting if you haven't done them before, but they are quite simple really.

Steve?
