Is there any way to 'Search' in the 'Archive' files, specifically in the splash archive files?

That would be pretty sad if all those years of info were gone....lots of great stuff there if you search a bit

I agree. The thousands of posts on SPLASH have been a great help to me. But it is disappointing to see that we can't search the Archives at all now. Hopefully this will get changed in the near future.

Many of us spent lot's of time building up the splash archives.

won't leave a good taste if all that time goes to waste.

I have to agree with Randy.  I have solved many  issues searching the archives, as I am sure all of us have.  SoftPlan should realize it has saved hundreds if not thousands of emails to tech support.    Plus I was able to continue working without waiting for an answer.

I am sure SoftPlan considered the value of the old posts in the DC Forum message forum and that is why they just put it into "archive" mode. Unfortunately archive mode does not allow for a search feature. :(

That old DC Forum software is no longer supported (hadn't been for a long time) and there doesn't seem to be a way to import directly from DC Forum into Community Forum Software (this current forum),

but there does seem to be a work around. They could import the old DC Forum content into a V Bulletin forum and import from V Bulletin into Community Forum Software. See https://www.invisionpower.com/convert

SoftPlan may not want to go through that trouble, but I would be more than happy to help with the process if that is what they choose to do.
