Has anyone figured out a way to pull the rod and curtain closer to the interior of the window? I'm turning on the treatment option when editing an opening. When viewed in 3D the curtain is noticeably far from the wall. Thoughts?

I agree, it seems too far out from the window, However, as far as I'm aware, there are no user definable settings to adjust it.

The blinds in the window treatment tab do a decent job but I agree that the curtains do appear too far from wall in 3D.
Although I haven't used them, there are curtains & rods in the Interior Décor symbol library. You would have better control for 3D but not automatic.

I don't know why, but I find the window treatment very awkward to use, On my installation, if you select a treatment, nothing shows until you check the boxes, and then it seems to be something different. However, changing the treatment after checking the boxes does NOTHING. Is this only my machine, or is this common. How would you change a white Curtain with Brass Rod to Dark Beige Curtain and Aluminum Rod? without editing all the boxes ... Shouldn't they change automatically?
The actual "TREATMENT FINISH" selected doesn't do anything ... Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
This is what my computer shows:

I can reselect anything, HOWEVER, those seem to be the DEFAULT items whichever treatment I select ... NONE of which seem to have ANYTHING to do with the treatment selected. In which case why bother to select a treatment at all?

Thanks for the question Kylene. This topic seems to have gone off base so I'll attempt to answer your original question.
The distance the curtains sit from the wall is dependent on the length of the bracket used. The Ring half Inch is a shorter bracket that may give you the result you want.
If I misunderstood the question, please let me know.

In this case, I cheated with a Solid Plane to give it a different color to match other walls.
Usually, I draw a hidden wall offset to sit on top of the ground floor walls and top fit to ceiling or roof. I give the general color to my drywall so that reduces the paints I need in room or interior mode. If a different color is needed for that section, I can use a wall with a different drywall.
