Any help on drawing coffered ceilings on floor plan for 3d viewing.

Drywall ceiling wood beams with crown. .

I'd draw it as beams with crown moulding inside that drawn in interior mode. Although I'm not at a computer to try it, but that would be my approach.

did this very fast.  no judging design

 

create a custom "wall beam"

than use divide segments to set up the layout for your "wall beams"

than draw in your wall beams and offset them so the tops

are under the ceiling.

than in INTERIOR MODE . draw in the "crown molding" (you can edit size of molding)

in the example i show, i used "auto trace" took about 5 seconds

to put in the  molding..  a minute at most to put in the wall beams

more ways to get similar results
