Pretty sure I am over looking this setting but how can I get the views of drawings in my plan sets to show in color?

Thanks!

You can also assign them to a Building Option. By doing this you also have control over their display on your plan as well as SoftView.

Why a BUILDING OPTION? Why not just use LAYERS?

Not criticizing here, just trying to understand the benefits, and possibly (read that as likely), learning something ...

What colours do you want to show Larry? Do you mean the screen colours, or do you have specific colours in mind, Like RED text or BLUE hatching?

Yes I think Keith is right if you want just some things to show in color you need to change the pen colors for the items in question or you can easily override the item pen color with layers. You would first need to make sure the pen colors are set in the drawing/project options. If you want the colors on screen to show in plan sets and print you can use my first suggestion. Also if you want to change the color of a note or something added to the actual plan set page you can edit the plan set page options and change the pens for that page.
