Good Afternoon,

When I cut a section, and display it on my plan set as visible line, the linework is not crisp and black.  It prints gray and fuzzy (see attached).  I also would like the lap siding to display and the individual blocks of the block wall.  Can anyone help me to adjust my settings to get a better quality wall section ready to label?  Maybe there is another way to generate the wall section?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave - I believe that what is actually being put on the plan  set is a .jpg file, not a drawing file.  You will need to save the section as a SoftPlan drawing first and then add that drawing to your plan set.  The same is true for cabinet elevations.  I tried using Interior Elevations for all of my cabinet layouts and had the same problem.  Once I saved the interior elevations as SP drawings, then everything cleaned up.

Thanks, Tim, but if I do that, they will not be "live" anymore, and will not update if the plan is modified, right?

I do the same with my sections and interior elevations so that they are live.  They do come out a bit grayed.  I have not figured out a way around it or why it really happens actually
