AFTER A RECENT MOVE...I CAN'T FIND MY CHEAT-SHEET FOR FRACTIONS...

ANYONE KNOW WHAT I'M SPEAKING OF???

Is this what you mean? ... Alt 0188 = ¼, Alt 0189 = ½, Alt 0190 = ¾

I'll bet he was referring to fraction/decimal conversion.

A lot of the higher fractions will only work with certain fonts (and sometimes there are limits imposed by the program too), and to be honest I haven't found many places they will work.

 

If you're looking for a cheat sheet for the ANSI Character codes try this one: http://cloford.com/r...des/symbols.htm Seems to work well.

You can also use Windows Character Map to find the fractions for certain fonts. It shows the Alt codes plus allows you to copy it to the Windows Clipboard.

Yes, using the windows Character map works really well too. Sometimes though the characters are a little hard to find. I do like to have a hard copy pinned to the wall, for those of us who are hard of seeing ...
