I'm not a Softplan 2018+ subscriber so I'm looking for recommendations of trustworthy sites, besides Sketchup 3D warehouse to source new realistic looking symbols. (interior and exterior products)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Martin:

Many of the 3D objects are .3ds files.  Softplans 3d modes are .3sp.  Do we need to convert or will Softplan accept these?

Softplan can work quite happily with 3DS files. Although sometimes textures may not function as intended, as the textures are embedded within the 3DS format.

my 2,000 (estimate) 3d sketchup models are all 3ds format and they work quite well with softplan.

they come with the textures. textures for each 3d model are automatically put

into their own folder with same name as the 3d model so they know where the

textures belong.  easy & neat !

Sorry I haven't been back here since I asked this question. Thank you all for your replies.

I can't wait to check these out so I can add more options to my library.

I also use caddetails.com.  There is some crossover with sketch up files on this one.
