I am trying to generate my elevations on a job and I get one elevation and on all the others the system is just giving me a line across the screen.  Anyone have any idea.  I am in the last stages of the job and really need to get this figured out.

Does that line have anything in the centre .... Are you zoomed so far out that you can't see, or is it really just a single line?

I'm thinking that perhaps you are zoomed way out.. the elevation is super small and you can't see it... perhaps there is something placed or drawn way far away from the floor plan, or something drawn super big that is creating the long line on the elevation.. are you able to EDIT / ITEM and click on the long straight line to see what it is?

I can see only my left elevation.  You are right that I can see a line...and possibly something way out to the side.  I just cant see to zoom into it.

Thomas,

You were right!!   Thank you so much for the assistance on a Saturday.  It was a line that was way way out of my regular screen.  Thanks again,

Technology today, eh... having pizza and helping a softplan user, somewhere else on the planet, on my cell phone, while the 8 year old plays an arcade game..

That was the only explanation I could see too.

tom,

would doing a zoom extent or zoom world (or whatever zoom would of zoomed out to everything on the drawing

and than

doing a "cross erase at top/bottom, and left/right fixed the issue ?
