Thank you all for your help, but I have given up on building options for now.  I had my mass model looking good for both my A and B options, and started adjusting for finishes, and I messed up both models with errors I can't correct.  I have saved it out as two separate projects and am trying to put it back together, but for future reference (and my next attempt) I have a few questions:

1. I had a option A wall with windows in it.  Option A was sided, option B was a stone veneer.  When I changed the windows to option B, then deleted the wall on option A, the windows are also deleted.  It is like they stayed attached to the wall they were in, even though they were on different options.  Is that correct?

2. My roofs got all messed up.  It seems as though if any "lollipop" is attached to a different option wall or beam I could not get it to appear on the render.  Do all it's supports need to be on the same option?

3. Some other roofs seem to extend to different walls or roof lines when brought from one option to another?

Thanks,

Dave

Not sure why you erased the Option A wall?

For your windows, you have 2 options;

1- Windows are the exact same for both options. They should be attached to Options A & B

2- Windows have differences (I always have 2 different windows when dealing with siding and masonry because of the exterior trim and sometime the grills because it's a corner lot). Therfore you need a window for A and a window for B. I usually do my siding wall with windows, copy the wall with opening out of the way, modify the building option and move it back in place. Beware concerning your extension lines and dimensions for the openings. You need separate extension lines and related dimensions  for A & B even if the openings are basically the same and in the same location otherwise they will relate to only the original option you put it on (see related colors on images included).

Unfortunately, for roofs, interior trims, etc...., you need to do a clean-up in teh different modes when you switch from one option to another. Hopefully this will be dealt with soon.
