I though I read a post on creating a canvas awning (or canopy) over the exterior of a window for use in a rendering, but I cannot find search results.  Is there a quick way to do that, or is it just created with solids?

Thanks,

Dave

I would like to know this too.

One option I might try is to create an invisible beam out in front of the window and add a shed roof to that

Use a very small rafter (0.125") ... with the invisible beam, and add a concave profile to suit to the roof edge.

I think I modeled a few shade sails in SketchUp and then imported. I have symbols for both shown in the rendering.
