Does anyone run 2012 on Windows 8.1? Are there any problems with this? I just ordered new computer and was wondering if I should put windows 7 or 8.1.

Thanks

definately do one of them.

never had 7.    was XP until i got latest with 8 / 8.1

hated 8 until i started to understand it.

now i like it.  very stable and soon will get v10 for free.

didn't see you mention running v2012 on 7 or 8.

i ran XP with v2012 so don't know about that.

I was using windows 7 professional 64 bit for the last 5 or 6 years and was very happy with it. I actually just got a new pc myself with windows 8.1 at my work office, and am happy that so far as well...of course I got it with 32 gb of ram, and all kinds of other bells & whistles too...it's very fast. Biggest problem is now I want the same thing for my home office (I do quite a bit of design work at home as well). I guess print drivers can be a problem, but you should be able to find a workaround. I use a Xerox 8825 at work, and found a driver that works with that (it's actually a windows 7 64 bit driver for an 8830). You can set up 8.1 to seem like you're using windows 7 for the most part. Microsoft Office 2013 is nice too.
