Is there any way to lock menus so that they don't shuffle. I find it frustrating that they are not in the same order every time I access them.

When in SYMBOLS or NOTES sub folders, they seem to be arranged generally ALPHABETICALLY, however, Softplan seems to want to put recently used folders at the top, which is really annoying, because that's not where you look for them.
There are 10 types of people in this world ....... Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

If you're referring to the tab that is current when doing subsequent edits, the tab that was open on the last edit will be open on a subsequent edit for a similar item.
An example being that I am editing the grilles on an opening and when select a second opening to edit, the Grille tab will be open. If you select a different command, the next edit will open to the Plan tab by default.
If that isn't what you meant Dennis, please provide more specifics before this post goes off topic.

I made a suggestion a few weeks back to LOCK the floating tool bar from changing shape. I occasionally move it and accidentally reshape it.
maybe its possible to LOCK or SAVE our current window configuration

Here is a perfect example of what I find frustrating. FIRST.png 17.85KB 0 downloads TWO.png 9.21KB 0 downloads
The menu on the left is what I got when I went to insert an exterior french door. It's basically in a random order. I then clicked on french and inserted my door.
The next time I went to insert an exterior door the menu on the right is what I got. Now it's in alpha order.
I would rather the menus be and stay in alpha order or better yet the option to arrange my most used at top and it STAY THE WAY I ARRANGE IT. No more hide and seek please.
Just checked the menu and for some reason "Exterior Door" has reverted back to the original order again.
