I've posted a support ticket on this a couple of times and not gotten feedback.

My siding is jagged in the peak of a gable, which wouldn't bother me so much but my gable frieze doesn't show on one side of the gable and shoots past the peak on the other.

Any ideas? I've tried roof cleanup, unchecking "gable provided by roof" and rechecking it.

Thanks!

Any holes cut on the roof that are not giving the freeze board a stopping point?

is the lower roof set on intersect/vertical , if so it may have to be pulled back from the face

of the taller gable end. If the lower roof is placed on another layer will the taller gable

end siding and freeze board show correctly?

Don't let you carpenters drink on the job!

I've had similar things happen and "sometimes" can fix it by playing with the roof.  Sometimes a roof bubble just needs to be re-referenced to the same wall and it'll fix it.

I take a different approach on high pitch parallel chord or high heel trusses.  I attach the lollypops of ceiling and roof to phantom walls (hidden walls & not shown on the plan).  Now I set the actual wall to a higher then the soffit height.  My section cuts will be incorrect however i just clean them up when drawing sections.
