so it seems that the 1 MB image size is "cumulative"... I suppose we will need to delete images from older posts?

Tom, you say the image size is cumulative.   Would this be over a specific time period or per individual posting or ..... ?

 

It seems we will almost immediately be stuck on uploading images if we don't keep deleting old images,  I'm confused !

Jim... that's what I gather... go to your User Profile / Manage Attachments...

 

perhaps not "immediately", but perhaps after 50 or 100 images or so ...depending on sizes and such..

Quick note on images in replies.
If you want to add images in your reply use the "Add Reply" button at the top of the post.
You will have the attach files option below the editor.

If you want to reply with no attachments or images the quick type reply option at the bottom of the post is best.

Warren & TR,

 

The test files you attached were under 100K in size. With a limit of 976MB in attachments that comes out to over 10,000 attachment!. That should keep us going for a quite awhile. By the time we run out hopefully technology will have upped the limit.

5 attachments and still at 1% ... cool... looks like that's not really going to be an issue what-so-ever...
