I have a deck that I used 6x6 cedar posts.  On my material list, they come up under the heading of "Posts & Columns".  How do I get them to show up under "Exterior Structures" like the rest of the deck material?

Did you use the post under the deck icon?

I just checked and mine shows up in the right place on softlist.

Ah.  No, I don't.  I draw the deck and then go to my lower level and insert posts where I want them.  That would do it.  Thanks

So I can get P/T posts to show but not cedar posts.  Those still sit under the Post and Columns section

Try adding your cedar post to your structural library and see if that works for you.
