See cropped image of my taskbar.

Why does softplan open an additional window?

Throughout the day as i am going back and forth between programs i will incidentally push the wrong SP icon and then start another softplan window.

Anyway, hopefully you see what i am saying.

Please fix.

This is what I get.  The stacked icon is because I have a "child window" open.

I think this is a Windows issue and not a SoftPlan issue.

I found a fix though:  Open SoftPlan, with the second icon on the taskbar, right click the original icon and unpin it from the taskbar.  then right click on the second icon and pin it to the task bar.  You may need to edit the properties and change the name and icon as I did because it was showing as 2018 but no more second icon.

That's what was probably causing it.  You had SP pinned to the task bar. And I try to have nothing pinned to the task bar.

Right click on the taskbar icon, then right click on SoftPlan, click on properties.
