Hi Everyone - I've started using the "fade" setting in my plan sets and wondered if anyone knows a way to control the amount or percentage of "fade". For example. When I am doing a finished basement I move the foundation walls to their own layer and set that layer to "fade" via the checkbox. This allows the finished area to really pop on the plan set. The problem is that when I go to print, the faded area is so washed out that its almost invisible. Anyone have any luck or experience with this?

Thanks! Andrew

I don't think there is a way to adjust it but would be a terrific suggestion to send in to Softplan. Lots of ways to use such a simple thing.

I don't use FADE, but have set some pens as various shades of grey.

FADE can give you many more options. I too use shades of gray (not 50 though) but FADE would allow you, for example, to still show everything on a "furniture" layer but still not have it be prominent or obtrusive to the actual plan. I use it this way right now but to have more control over the fade amount would be great. Lots more ways of using it is possible.

You would think there is a way to control that. For that reason, I too use shades of gray. I drawing in monochrome for the most part anyway.
