a few versions ago gave us "PROFILES"

 

we can design any profile we want and put them on many components

 

like roofs, wall siding, moldings, etc, etc, etc.

showing an example using it for wall siding (in wall definition - at end)

and on roof edges - create your roof profile and add it when

editing the "roof edge".

the profiles you create are limited by your imagination.

I'm not sure what that says about your imagination Randy!!!!!

 

Can you do a tutorial about that? I'm sure I'm not the only one who will learn something.

 

How did you get the handles on the garage doors?

 

I've been trying to find a way to get hinges and handles to show as different textures on custom doors.

 

Do 3D custom objects use layers to define what material properties they can have?

 

If I construct a 3D object in multiple layers, can I have multiple styles of say "glass" in a door or window?
