I remember seeing a list of keyboard short cuts for fractions so that 1/4 looks like ¼. I have it for ½ & ¾. I thought there was a list for just about every fraction.

Keyboard shortcuts would be handy. I use the character map, which is a little tedious.

¼ is ALT 0188, ½ is ALT 0189 and ¾ is ALT 0190 (on the numeric pad).

There is an extensive list, but it also depends on whether the font supports the character in it's character set.

Just as a matter of interest ... if you don't know what it is, how did you create it in the question you posed?

Go to your fonts in character map.  Copy and paste from there all the fractions of your font style into a SP drawing.  Make a symbol or speed note of all them together.  I call the symbol "fractions".  When you need one of the fraction, draw your fractions symbol, explode it, and each fraction is there for you to copy and paste into your notes.  Easier that going to character map each time.

If I am not mistaken, each font would have different alt key numbers.

Yes, I think MOST (definitely not all) of those are specific to the Softplan fonts.

Thanks Warren,

That is what I was looking for. I don't think I will nee anything less than an eight of an inch. Something interesting, when I type the eighth inch fraction in the note box it does not show up, but it appears on the drawing.
