When I take wall joins down to 0.5" or even ZERO, and remove my walls from cleanup, under no circumstances should Softplan EVER adjust them. I have a confluence of exterior walls where three walls meet at different heights, where a single storey 10:12 pitch meets a two storey 5:12 pitch, and have adjusted then so that they meet BEHIND a 90" corner trim symbol. Every time I open the drawing or edit the drawing, Softplan decides that these walls HAVE to meet differently than I have left them and leaves a gap between the wall and the trim.

LEAVE IT ALONE ... I've lost count of the number of times I've had too put this wall back where I want it.

I hope this is better in 2020 ... when we finally get round to using it!

Please be sure to send us a ticket and outline where the issue is so we can take a look in both 2018 and in version 2020.

Thanks Keith.

If there is a fix to this problem I would like to know it. The same thing happens to me.

Walls and beams. Putting them on a special layer and locking the layer seems like the only hope. But then you can't "edit" them to see how tall they are of find out anything else about them.

I can never figure when they will move, either. I will be in floor mode or roof mode, and come back to find that my walls have all jumped around. Running 2018 here, don't know if it is any better with the new version. Any 2020 users like to weigh in?

2020 is the same. I end taking the join tolerance on walls and beams down to zero, creating a “line” at the intersection. Looks are not the best, but it’s better than the walls moving completely.......it still sometimes has some weird “overlap” shadow of wall........

I've also had the same problem.

Very frustrating and time consuming.

This is an extremely annoying issue in both 2018 and 2020

What is the point of turning Cleanup off if Softplan can over ride your wishes any how?

Yes, I agree.  Thought anchor was going to be the solution.  They need a "lock" command that you can use on two or three wall (or whatever), and they do not move.  If it give problems later because you actually want to move it and don't remember (or come back months or years later and have forgotten) there be a command to show lock walls.

This is an old thread and an old problem that keeps happening.  It is similar to the roof moving problem and it was pointed out/suggested that ctrl c will often clean up the roof moving problem.  Have you tried that on the walls moving problem/

I have not noticed any of my walls moving but probably because my houses are mostly rectilinear and I don't usually have problem corners.

This is what I have to struggle with. Both beam & retaining wall tolerance set to 0 and it still interferes with the wall corner

I have been dealing with this for years and unfortunately I cannot figure out a solution.
