Anyone else download a patch today? Mines been downloading for over an hour and just passed 30%

After reading your post, I downloaded the patch. I am at 16% and this patch is real slow or really a big one. Maybe it's 2016!!!!

Maybe the server was bogged down -mine took 3 minutes to down load

My tablet downloaded pretty fast...desktop is only at 74% now...rediculous

mine took over 3 hours to download and install.

These changes do not seem so significant to warrant such a long patch.. three PCs at our office averaged about 30 minutes from download to install. To be honest, I'm a little miffed about how SoftPlan decides which bugs to fix, as there have been numerous ones I've addressed to them..

I downloaded this morning and it took 3 min to download and 19 min to install

3 minutes to download and 25 minutes to install for me.
I agree that for the last couple of versions, serious patches are few and far apart (except for spelling and text corrections)and corrections that should occur even if identified at the beginning of a version is left to the next version (maybe!).

Took about 15min. to install, good time to drink coffee and surf YouTube.

Yes SP descriptions of updates is vague there may be things they don't describe you may find.  Also, there is a lot of behind the scenes code that is changing which means nothing to us.  Personally i don't care what the update contains i'm just happy they're updating it.  Ever update your PS4, Xbox or Microsoft service packs?.....complete descriptions of updates is rare.
