That doesn’t make since if his old key worked on his old computer like yours.

Big shout out to Colin Moore over at Softplan Technical Support.  I had just completed a new computer build with a AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT processor and when I went to start up Softplan the new computer couldn't see the softplan key.  With the help of Colin, we reinstalled the drivers and ran numerous utilities to no avail.  The key would not even show up in the device manager.  Softplan sent me a new micro key on Monday which I received today.  Plugged it in and I was off to the races!  I had $1600.00 invested in this build so I was pretty nervous about this whole deal!  Can't say enough about Colin and tech support.  They really worked hard to get me up and running!

I'm glad you got it worked out. Any info on why the old key worked on your old computer and not on the new one?
