So I just posted a response to a post and I noticed under my profile pic it shows how many times I have posted in the forum. Under that it lists that I have "0 Warning Points". As I didn't see this under anyone else's profile, I assume that I'm the only one that can see this. Under what conditions might I be assessed "Warning Points" for? I looked for a forum rules link, but didn't see anything. Mind you, I have no intention of testing this system of "Warning Points"...just curious and killing time before dinner.

Since this is the weekend, you may not get an answer until Monday and maybe not until after the NAHB show. In the meantime, in general practise, --- Warning points are a feature in all Invision Power Board Software of which this is one. The idea is that the moderators can assess a point to the poster for inappropriate behavior in Posting. Usually two or three points will get you banned from the site. It is more commonly used to discourage users from posting adware, or cyber bullying, etc.
No forum that I know actually has a definite set of rules -- Too restrictive. Everyone will see the same listing under their own Profile which only they can see. -- Nothing special here.
Softplan might be more definitive on Monday -- But I doubt it. OTOH -- Like points are a feature to encourage more focused, quality in discussions. That doesn't really work well either but a good way to tell SoftPlan that you also agree with a suggestion.
