You can't do anything with data on the screen without a key, so there's NO REASON at all why it can't be useable/accessible once you have a valid key. That's just petty.

 

If you buy a key, you can use it, otherwise it's useless ... either way if you want your data, you end up buying a key to get it.

Yeah I thought so to but, I created a ticket from the file, and they responded and said no. At least I had only done a floor plan, no elevations or details.

Unfortunate, but if you have the screen shot, it should not take long to redraw.  I sometimes redraw plans that I have on paper but somehow got lost thru the years.  I make a 11x17 of all plans drawings to keep as backup.
