When trimming out an interior door for 3D and I want to put a special component created in Sketchup at the top, am I really creating a pediment in the "Opening Trim" under type or is something else.

Thank you,

Jerry

Yes, from what you describe, I'd assume it's a pediment.

You could always try adding a standard pediment, and see if that is what you think it is, and then create/use a custom to suit.

I got the pediment imported and set up as an opening trim and it works right for the size opening I designed it for but when I put it on a larger opening it did not come out as tall as it was suppose to. Do I have to design one for each size door like I did when creating interior doors or have I done something incorrectly?

Thank you,

No, as far as I remember the pediment size is adjustable. Although not sure why it would show smaller. You should be able to adjust height and width independently.

FYI, there is a already pediment like that in the library.
