Hi,

I've been a Softplan user for about 12 years and still using V.14.

I want to use a site photograph as the background image but the photograph does not hold as "4:3" but stretches across in widescreen so that the photograph is distorted lengthwise. The Softplan 3D image is correct but the background is incorrect as can be seen in the jpg. photograph attached. If I change the screen setting to 4:3 ratio the Softplan drawings are distorted - i.e. squished inwards! (hope you can see the attached files?)

Anyone know if I can correct the background image?

Crop the photograph so that it is 16:9

I just tried that with an aerial photo, cropped to 16:9, and SP is still stretching it in the 16 direction. Any other ideas?

Im having a senior moment on attaching an image. Refresher  please
