Is there a way to add new material definitions to the drop-down list in the edit wall interface?  PSL and Laminated Beam have a weird offset glitch in their beam end section profile and are not use-able without having to explode them later.  I would like to add a better LVL beam selection that doesn't have that weird glitch.  I use solid wood as well, so I can't just use another pre-defined material in the list.

Thanks

Can you elaborate on the "weird offset glitch"? Not something I've noticed. Although to be fair, the beam end section profile isn't something I've ever cared about at 1/4" = 1'-0"

The Laminated Beam Material will not display at 1-3/4" when generated in a cross section.  If you dimension across it will display the correct dimension but only shows the beam at 1-1/2.  I haven't checked the Pre-release yet.

Thank you, I'd never noticed that. Must check it out.

I just create my own beams by placing sections of LVL next to each other in the definition. It is silly the way the system thinks sometimes.
