I am wondering what other, more experienced user, think about the new features introduced so far on 2022?

I, for one am very happy about the stepped foundation wall feature. This appears to me as a big plus for those of us dealing with walk-out basements.

Are there any other features that jump out as worth the upgrade? ( I am on plus and will get the upgrade anyways, but just wondering if this is a typical upgrade or a big jump forward?)

I am still holding out for the upgrade that lets me hook my clients up to a brain scanner and the program combines what the client wants and what they can afford to what the building codes allow. So, after a hard day fishing I can come back to find the perfect house plan already drawn up and sent out for bids and permits.

Is that too much to ask?

This appears to me as a big plus for those of us dealing with walk-out basements.

I don't seem to have trouble with walkout basements ... breaking a wall and dropping a portion lower is not too difficult. What was a PITA was dropping the wall and leaving the doors and windows at the same level. Now if the "O" level  stays in the same place, so the openings don't jump around when you lower the bottom of the wall, then to me, that is a big deal.

There's always something new and exciting in every new version. Although these are different new and exciting features (and some underwhelmong ones too), - in my opinion - this seems to be a typical upgrade. So far ...

We haven't seen everything yet!

I think this is a wonderful upgrade, Think i started at version 12, and have watched it grow, to now. Last upgrade I think was plan sets, which I think was a big beautiful step for production etc and things started to be very interactive, and softlist made a big step. This upgrade has improved about everything, and improved the function of many things. The more I see the nicer I think this is a major upgrade. THe new wall stuff with dealing with top and bottom height. Of course just read the lists that keep coming out. The way they are presenting the changes with the post each day or so, with how what is new, is great, so we can learn a little each day, i like it. Roofs got much better last upgrade and i think they have improved this time with just being more stable. It's a little overwhelming to take in so many changes when you were smooth with 2020. So will be a little to get automatic with 2022.   They keep taking the program to a new level and I think this upgrade is the best level yet. And i might say the level of support we get from the people at Softplan, makes you feel like part of the family.   But that's my view, and this program is making me a living, and drawing plans is super fast.

I basically make the changes as the customer talks to me on the phone, and sent to them asap.

Love it

I was excited to see a lot of additional functions to the roof system.
