Is there a way to search the old archives like you can the forums?

Not generally, No, there is no search command ... However, Brian Berzinskis has noted how to search the old archives with a google search in this post. Brian has also written a CHROME extension that can help too. READ FURTHER DOWN below the post.

 

However, whilst containing masses of really good information, a lot of the posts relate to much earlier versions of Softplan. Personally I have found that the newer Softplan versions have easier ways of doing things than the old workarounds. That's not to say the workarounds don't work, they do ... but some of them are no longer needed.
