I laid out a grid so my client could layout their kitchen cabinets.  I placed it on a separate layer, then printed out the floor plan to make sure it worked...which it did.  However, when I created the pdf the grid didn't show up on the floor plan.  I've checked/unchecked every possible layer combination I could think of but can't get it to work.  These are basic lines, why aren't they visible in the pdf?

The grid looks to be in the kitchen to me. What am I missing? or alternately, what am I seeing?

Keith it shows up in the drawing, it shows up when it's printed...it doesn't show up when I save it as a pdf  to send to my client.  I'd like to find out why it doesn't and how to get it to show up in a pdf.

Found the problem, I had fade checked on the grid layer.  Unchecked it and it worked but I don't understand...thought fade just lightened the layer.  In this case it disappeared, maybe someone could enlighten me on the nuances of "fade"

It may be that because of the fade, the lines were too light for the PDF to pick up.
