I've been having a lag sorta on like edit, etc., with one project. It is/was a project i had in the project folder of the Beta copy. Things were lagging and then some weird stuff i won't try to discribe..

So i created a project in the new release 2022 and moved the drawings there, and so far seems to maybe have fixed the issue.  Might have been doing it in 2022 on plans that are still in the

project folder of 2020.      It was a very noticable lag.

I did a ticket 66660 for it

Thanks for providing the ticket Fred. When loaded here there was no noticeable lag opening the drawing or performing edits to it.

If you have more information as to what causes the lag for you, please let us know.

I am having the same issue today with lag.  I just clocked the last refresh at 1 minute 40 seconds.  Not a productive day at all.  I did as Fred suggested and moved the drawing into the 2022 project folder and opened from there. This did not improve things. I also removed the site plan from the model hoping that might help speed up the cleanup/ refresh, no improvement.  I submitted ticket 66705.

Is it only that one project?

Not sure if it makes  a difference, but I created a new project in 2022 new release, and went to the project that had the project stored in the project file of the Beta, and did a save as, of each drawing to the new

project of the one I created that stored the files in 2022 projects.        I didn't move the whole project as a bundle.     Maybe suggesting the way you moved the project took something over that is the cause.  I was thinking that when I did mine.

Mine's good so far but I haven't worked the project a lot yet.

If you're moving a whole project, why not use "SAVE PROJECT AS"?

Don't know probably the way to do it, I guess i was thinking maybe softlist or 3d or something about the beta was affecting the program,

so just brought over what I needed. I had saved pdf surveys, jpegs and stuff I was thinking might have an affect. I've never done well with

moving whole projects,

Thanks for sending the ticket in Brent. The speed issue has been reported and we will investigate further.

started lagging again, so I did the, the run compatibilty trouble shooter, that Allen suggested, i think maybe that worked

heck started lagging again.   Closed Softlist and it seemed to go away.    I'll watch

Did another ticket # 66743.  It seems to for sure be when I have softlist up on the tabs, but if softlist is closed, doesn't seem to be a problem.

also it crashed and sent a report to Softplan

I've had the same softlist stuff since V12 or V14, so maybe some junk in it?

That could be their server or your internet. Our internet is bad, so it almost always churns when using SP+ symbols, etc.

Even just closing the program lags badly. I' m assuming at that point, its uploading to the softplan+ cloud servers. Never lagged with 2020.

Searching up symbols, and if it comes across any softplan+ symbols, it will lag out.

That is almost unheard of in the computer progamming world, especially when 3d stuff is involved. Good for you!
