Is there a way to convert sketch lines into a group/block so that they move as one? I know you can create a symbol from drawn objects on the screen, I was just curious is there is a command that does this without going through the symbol creation process.

You can group objects either by selecting them and selecting the group button or selecting the group button and forming a box around them. Then when selecting move, select group. Sometimes SP thinks all lines are that group, but in theory it should work if they've been grouped.
