Fellow users I'm having an issue creating a floor plan opening for this combo door / window opening for the rear of this project. I have drawn it using lines and arcs and created jus a symbol to plug it into my elevation but now need to at least give some sort of floor plan symbol to get it to the customer, any help appreciated.

I'd recommend creating the doors, sidelites, transom, and possibly arched transom as separate units and then place them in your floor plan and offset them accordingly. All you would see in plan is the doors and sidelites technically, so you can hide the transom openings or show them in the second floor plan. The transoms would sit above the first floor plan cut line but opening sizes could be shown if desired. If you have walls set to show for both the second floor and first floor then you might be able to set the transoms up on the second floor plan and offset to get the elevations to look the way you want. I think the way SP has openings cut between floor levels is better in 2022, but it can be done in 2020.

You have the Elevation Opening drawn and in your system file but I would split up the elevation opening into 3 parts, the door (one side), the side lite and the "transom" window above. When you then go to System --> System Library --> Openings --> Exterior Doors --> One Step --> Name your door & select it in custom opening and the type is a door. Then you can add each individual component (the door x2, side lite x2 and transom). once each component is added as their specific types (window or door), you can add it to your plan as an opening and each part will show appropriately. I didn't break the door into two units so it doesn't look correct, but this should give you enough information to get it completed and to your client.
