I have a HP ENVY Laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card. It's about 3 years old. About a year ago it wouldn't boot up and I after trouble shooting deemed that the HD was bad. I ordered a new one and installed it, every worked fine. Now it is starting to get hard to reboot again. I'm thinking of getting a Dell - G7 17.3" 300Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i7 -16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB I'm not a Tech guy so was wanting any input or thoughts on this idea. Thanks in advance

Consider Alienware x17. My travel machine is an Alienware 17 R5...it was pre RTX graphics processors but still very fast and very stable, runs SP2022 but not DX12 which is fine.

That should work fine Carl. I have a ROG Strix with similar specs and a lower spec video card.

I wish I saw this sooner.
Nvidia has had a sale on its RTX30 series laptops for a few weeks now.
some really good deals. I may get one instead of upgrading my video card on my computer.
