Suddenly, all my new walls are no longer shaded.  Wall Shading is checked in visible items and it looks to be set up in the wall definition.  Textures can be made visible and solid shading works, but I would prefer to go back to shaded shading so I can get grey instead of black and also don’t have to manually reconfigure the entire library.

 

Any ideas?

first thought would be to make sure your video card driver is current.

 

i do mine a little different, the SP wall shade isn't that dark...IMO. (top exterior wall)

Make sure in the layer box, that you haven't unchecked  "use items color"

 

If you have, everything on that layer will take the color set in the layer properties. This could be keeping your shading from being grey. It would inherit the color set by the layer.
