Can a few regular users please verify this problem with a few lines:

Cursor snap doesn't function correctly while cursor lock is engaged.  If you get close to the snap location it will NOT snap to this location unless the lock is disengaged.  All previous releases do not work this way; regardless of the lock or unlock if the snap symbol is showing than the snap will occur to the snap symbol location.

I just checked the snap with the lock in each of the three settings. mine is working correctly (and the same as previous versions) in in each lock setting.

The cursor snap behaviour has changed in 2022.

I have also noticed this problem with Softplan 2022.  It is very frustrating...

I can confirm this as well. I DO NOT LIKE IT!

I'll confirm too. It's like you have to be right on an endpoint for it to snap to it, not just close to it.

Strange! I never noticed any concerns with snap in 2020. Was there a problem that I didn't notice?

2020 works, 2022 does not is the point

Yes, But why did Softplan change something that wasn't broke?

One would assume that something with "snap" was reported not working properly.

During the development of a new release things inadvertently effect other things.  Difficult to catch everything before a release so its up to users to report issues and ask questions.

hmmm... seems to be working as expected in 2022 for me

When cursor snap on and lock engaged it will snap to an end, the center, align with another line, etc when the cursor is a good distance from the object.  Attached a screen capture.

Just as it did for me in 2020 ( maybe my 2020 was wrong and I'm just used to it...)

My version seems to do the same thing at random times. Its really annoying when I am drawing in a hurry and think I have been clicking snap points, only to realize an hour later that they are off just barely!

I just upgraded from 2020. the snap used to project a connection to the drywall face even though it is not visible. Is this feature gone or do I have a setting messed up?

Just heard back from the mother ship. This feature is not part of 2022. I will miss it!

I've noticed that when trying to trace a SHADE BREAK LINE around a complex object that some random snap points appear and I have to keep redoing items. It doesn't appear to be the predictive snap either, just snapping to a point close ... but not close enough ... to where it's supposed to snap.
