Is there a simple way to have lap siding run with the slope of the roof in 3D?  I have shakes of the face of dormers and would like lap siding on the sides to run with the roof (12/12).  Yes I have siding A on the front and Siding B on the sides.

I have looked in the forum, but I can't find it.

Thank you,

Mike

Has anybody found a way to do this using Profiles?

May be best to take the texture you want to use and edit it to the rotation you want in a program and resave as the new texture with the angle you want. That is always how we used to do it before given the rotation option in SP. Otherwise you can draw a profile and duplicate it referencing the rake of the wall or making it a symbol and copying it for every piece, but that has it's limitations as well.

Thanks to all for the response.

I am going to upgrade to SP+, but I need to get thru some difficult projects before I deal with that anexity.

Best to all,

Mike
