Are there any symbols for a corner sliding door system like in this photo.  The Photo is of an Anderson system but I haven't found anything in the Anderson libraries.  I have a large home I'm just starting on where the client wants one or even two of these in the design and want to be able to show it properly without having some sort of column showing in the corner.

Thanks!

I think they have the corner window that can be modified (if I recall correctly). It doesn't work perfectly, but generally shows the intent. The sill/threshold seemed to get messed up when I tried it.

Good thinking...that could be done if there are no other options

I did a full design for Tom Rogers earlier. I can't find it at the moment, I'll try and find it later, or maybe someone can post a link.

I was hoping that maybe it was a plus symbol since we've had anderson in our libraries for years

Sorry, I can't find them off hand ...

Have a look at this thread ... http://softplan.com/...s-sliding-doors ... Softplan really doesn't go a good job of corner windows (or at least didn't ... haven't tried 2022 yet).

Just as I find with other combined units, the threshold and sill do not always work right. The added complication of the corner caused some frustration, but I was able to get it close enough for conceptual representation.

Sam - I can send you a part of that model (the two walls and door) if you want to mess with it.

Appears to be a 2022 new feature. I haven't upgraded yet

The engineer is going to hate you LOL.  Not sure of your roof LL but this beam will most likely be a monster, clear span looks excessive.

Yep, the engineers will have fun on this one if it goes to completion. The owner had very specific desires and we went round and round. Not only is it funky, but the roof snow loads for the location are 67.8 PSF, ground is 97 PSF. Was going to be fun. Then, they decided to sit on it for the time being with the crazy construction costs. I think the engineers are relieved for now.

The engineering isn't too bad...it just requires a crap load of beams and typically all in steel.
