I am admiditley "new" to using building options,although I have been using SP since Softplan 8.

I am drawing a multi tiered home that has three building options for my customer,As I add roof plains,floors etc the elevations change.I have set a roof dormer,which is on 12' offset walls over the existing home(Default building option) three times to the correct position and it repeatedly moves(definition of insanity)

The walls on a second floor to the garage are now floating 4' above existing garage as well( Building option 1)

Any suggestions,I have downloaded the most recent patches

I've had similar issues. I've only been using SP since August..... assumed I was doing something wrong for awhile. Now - I've got a plan that I have two pantry cabinets and shower that even though they are Attached and anchored they keep moving - just a little bit. Incredibly frustrating and making me look bad to my bosses who not computer literate and think I just don't know what I'm doing.

Are  you using reference points on each floor?

If your dormers are not sitting directly on top of a floor you need to edit the dormer walls and uncheck cleanup for all the walls. Otherwise every time you select Cleanup the dormer will drop down to the floor.
