As many of you know, I am a great fan of Filter Forge, for creating textures for Softplan.

 

Shareware on Sale is giving away Filter Forge 7 Pro for the next few days ... https://sharewareons...eals?os=windows ... I'd suggest grabbing a copy while you can.

 

Even if you don't end up using it, the price is definitely right!

Thanks for the info.  Sort of on the same subject, what screenshot software do you use?  I am using Snip & Sketch but it loses the image quality when I enlarge it.  I would really like a high quality image so ...... Thanks!

I use ASHAMPOO SNAP 11. I have quite a lot of Ashampoo software and again, quite often you can get some of the paid programs free. I've been using SNAP since version 5, and it does everything I need it to do.

 

There is a FREE version of SNAP here ... https://sharewareons...p-6-19-99-value ... Again on Shareware on Sale's site. I haven't checked it, but again what have you to lose. Have a good look through all the free offerings on Shareware on Sale, you may find quite a lot of good FREE software.

 

Just to be clear, with Screenshot software you are doing just that, taking a shot of the screen PIXEL BY PIXEL ... at the resolution of the screen. Enlarging it will ALWAYS lose quality.

I downloaded it and seems like it is only a trial version....am I missing something?

I believe there were registration details in the email, you should have got a licence number, which you have to put into the program ... Go to HELP > ENTER LICENCE KEY. This will change it from a trial to the full PRO version.

 

I'm guessing, since I didn't download this version, I already owned a copy.
