I am looking for a 4"x4"x1/4" Sched. 40 Steel Column to use in a basement and support a W10x30 steel beam.
I don't see one in the symbol library.
So, how do you make a 2D/3D symbol in Softplan?

Just use a square column (under structural) and label it. Or you can create a profile/symbol of one if you need it to be more detailed.
