paint reference point...so small

who know the trick to keep the paint reference point large enough to be visible. Sometime it is very visible other times it is so tiny it cannot be seen. Makes it very hard to select.

Ctrl + R for Refresh. When the paint seed point gets too small to see then a screen refresh will make it visible again.
