I just recently learned of the ability we have to copy a hyperlink into a detail note.  I love this feature and can't believe I never knew it existed.  I think it's been around for quite a while.  I have "no print" notes set up on my template drawings that take me instantly to web pages for different types of reference material.  For example, I have one note that will take me to the Simpson catalog.  Another one takes me to a web page referencing steel beam dimensions.  I say all this to bring me to the reason for this post.  Is there any way to have a note set up with the hyperlink to the Web 3d for that project and have that link be active when the plan set page is exported to a pdf?  Currently I include this link in the body of my email to my customer, but I think it would be really cool if the customer could access the link directly from the pdf.

If not directly in SP, I suspect you could add the link in a number of PDF tools.

Have you tried linking a call out to a detail drawing yet?

No, but now I'm going to have to try it.  Is that something you have done?

It would be nice if items on drawings with hyperlinks retained their hyperlinks in the generated PDF's of the plansets.

NOTE: If they already can, I'm doing something wrong.

I haven't tried in a long time, but did not have success in the past within SP.

Here are some ideas that I think would be wonderful to manage plan sets.
